So I went to the Boston Tea Party Express gathering today, and let me tell you! First of all, I HATE driving in Boston! Boston is a nightmare to drive in if you don't do it often. The streets aren't a grid like normal cities are, and I guess this can be attributed to its age. In most cities, like Indianapolis, where I'm from, the city is laid out like a grid-you can make two right turns and be going to other way, but in Boston, there are no guarantees because the roads all curve every which way.. I suspect because of the Charles River snaking its way through the city.. But, anyway, I put in 84 Beacon St, Boston into my GPS, and it took me to 84 Beacon St, Hyde Park, which is a neighborhood in Boston.. So, naturally, not knowing where the hell I am, I get pissed! I'm late for the event at this time, and I already know that parking will be impossible to find! Boston is the worst city I've ever had the displeasure of driving in-if it's not the idiot drivers, it's the parking availability and price!!
I already knew heading in that I'd be in a group of individuals who psychopaths like Keith Olberman and Rachel Maddow like to call extremists, even though what we stand for is observing and functioning according to the Constitution and Bill of Rights, not acting like they're some living documents... Olberman, just tonight as I listened, talked about the, “disturbing rise of extremism in America,” and I know that he means me and the Tea Party, and it's disgusting intellectuall laziness..
One thing I noticed at the Tea Party is that the dissenters were all abnormal looking-they were either stupid college kids, (and I do think that college kids have license to be stupid because they don't have families, don't own a home, and haven't had a real job yet), or they looked like hippies with long hair and generally disheveled, or they appeared to be literally mentally retarded.. You'll see this in the pictures, as I tried to capture everything, for or against.. None of the people there protesting the Tea Party were normal-looking people, and, yes, there is a normal.
Another little note is that all of those protesting were simply holding stupid signs, because Liberals can't debate us on the issues, but were more likely supporting such depravity as gay marriage, abortion rights or condemning religion.. They like to call names like racist (That's the term for anyone who points out any unpleasant fact about a race, no matter how valid), bigot and homophobe, even though most people I know that have a problem with the incessant needling and antagonization by homosexuals aren't in any way afraid of these people, which is the meaning of phobia... Another ignorant usage of a world, right up there with racist...
So, on to the Tea Party pics and my experience.. First of all, after getting lost and showing up almost an hour late, I'm looking for a parking spot... Couldn't find a parking spot if my life depended on it, so I pulled into the Boston Common Parking Garage... You can't see the hourly price until you pull in to the garage, so you're trapped! The price? A whopping $23 per hour.. God, I hate that city.. I forgot just how disgusting that city was, and today was a good refresher..
So, anyway, I leave the parking garage, because I figure I'm going to be there at least 3 hours, and at $23 an hour, that's some serious coin, so I'm going to find a meter somewhere.. Well, no meters, so I did the next cheapest thing-parked in a Residents Only spot in front of some condos.. Cheapest parking in Boston at only $40, and the payment is deferred 21 days!!
Let me start things off with the retard of the day.. This idiot stood in the crowd with two or three idiotic friends, and he was shouting all day and jumping up and down and saying nonsensical things like, "Sarah Palin doesn't want us to eat peas!! Peas are delicious.." His sign says Pea Party, and obvious play on words.. But he was really obnoxious and sounded slightly retarded, but was absolutely irrational and annoying.. At one point an off-duty police officer told him to shut up or he was going to be arrested.. He argued, rather boisterously, that he had the right to free speech, to which the officer replied that they also had the right to peaceably assemble, and he was disrupting that.
He shut up during Sarah Palin's speech, but was back at it shortly thereafter..
This is idiot-boy with his two cohorts who spent the entire even together shouting stupidity...
I LOVED the Moonbat Alert!!!! sign this lady was holding so nonchalantly while having a conversation with another lady...
Then you had these idiots, evidently making fun of the Log Cabin party of yesteryear that was Republican..
I stood nearby and listened to this young lady argue with a man about how a family she knows is basically very sickly, and they are always needing something from the medical community, and while I can appreciate where her heart is at, it's just not reality.. Hearts don't win over cold, hard numbers and dollars... I took this picture because, while I think her message is very un-American, I can appreciate her passion!
There there were these two children, who walked around like they were in love in obvious protest...
Now, I'll just post random pictures of the day, which I thought was wonderful, overall!! There were speeches, there were testimonials, there was comedy, and in between it all was music!
These pictures will tell you size, demographic, mood and overall spirit of the day, and I'll let you sort the ignorance apart from the positive message on your own.. Any questions, feel free to ask!
Of course we had a little racist, bigoted doggie:
v
This family was nice enough to pose for me..
Shockingly, the media was there this time and didn't act like we didn't exist the way they did for the Worcester Tea Party last year:
I asked this clown where the biggest group of loons was so that I could photograph them, and he said, "Look around.."
What's he doing at this racist rally??
I loved her message!!!! Another confused black lady at a racist rally!! LOL...
Plenty of news media overhead!!
We're such racists...
paying tribute to the bus drivers!!!
I'll get zooms later...
Tyranny Response Team...
I cut off MIT..
A plane with a message-I think it means Christy Mihos..:
