Our government schools system continues to fail our kids... SAT scores fall..Average scores on the SAT college entrance exam dipped slightly for the high school class of 2009, while gender, race and income gaps widened, according to figures released Tuesday by the College Board. The average SAT score dipped from 502 last year to 501 on the critical reading section of the test. Math scores held steady at 515, and writing fell from 494 to 493. Each section has a maximum score of 800.

Time fly's eh? From the time of this original post a freshman in high school will either have graduated or dropped out. I heard that 15 faculty members have been layed off. They want more money for a failing system. I believe it is a structural failure. Reagan campaigned on decreasing the Department or Education in the end he doubled it. Check out what Charlotte Iserbyt, former Senior Policy Advisor in the U.S. Department of Education has to say. www.deliberatedumbingdown.com/
