Just why would it be that Obama is trying to force socialized medicine on us before the August recess of the Congress? After all, it's no surprise that he would try to impose Socialized medicine on the United States because he is, after all, a Socialist, but why so quickly? Why is he trying to get a vote on another unread bill that is definitely bad for America?
My suspicion is that he thinks that people will become more educated on the matter and the fact that Socialized medicine is a nightmare in every country that it's in practice.. In fact, Canada has a 19% higher death rate from colon cancer than America because two of the most effective drugs for treating it are banned in Canada for cost reasons! And there is an 8-month wait for radiation treatment for cancer in the UK.
The more people find out about Socialized medicine and the fact that it means earlier death for the elderly, the more they will be in opposition to it.
Could it also be that Obama knows that his favorable rating is sinking and that if he doesn't get this passed by August that he'll be below 40% favorable by the next time the Congress convenes, and he won't be able to get anything passed?
Dick Morris was on Jay's show today, and he siad that one reason Obama wants to enact this Socialized medicine, even though it's a terrible idea for America, is that Leftist regimes all over the world hang on to power by using health care as an issue of fear, as in, "don't vote for the Conservatives-they'll take away your health care." This is despicable..
Obama also says that he'll cut costs, but the only way you can cut costs is to deny care to the elderly and to reduce the income of doctors.. Unless the FDA decides to allow generic drugs into the country to lower the coast of drugs, that is, but they'll never do that because of the strength of the medical companies and their lobby.
I hope that enough people call their elected representatives and tell them that Socialized medicine is a bad idea and that it gets defeated! I really can't stand the thought of the public being so ignorant about his subject so as to actually want it to be enacted... But I don't hold out much hope after the election of an utterly unqualified black America-hating Socialist, and as our society gets seemingly dumber with each passing school year due to the institutionalized acceptance of mediocrity, we'll see more and more ignorant, lazy and plain misguided and brainwashed libtards voting for more and more free stuff on the backs of those of us who work..
After all, no reasonable, educated person in their right mind would believe that you could add 50 million people to the pool of people going to doctors with no decrease in service or increase in wait times... It just isn't possible.. Couple that with the fact that approximately 12 million of those 50 million are crimigrants who aren't entitled to health care in America at all, and you've got a very expensive and wasteful proposition that is going to ensure that those who are entitled to and deserve the health care get poorer service and have to wait longer for the poor service they receive..
