If I was a parent of one of these kids, I might even try to buy some of the pictures you posted. Maybe even the Courier would be interested? Think about it...

I got lucky this time because the sun was bright and my lenses were fast enough.. When it starts to darken up, as it did during this particular game, I have to start going down on my shutter speed or up on the ISO, and the shots aren't as crisp. My most expensive lens is $200, but to get really good action shots in lower light I'll have to spend $800 or more. The motorcycle racing thread shows what having my cheap lens does to you in lower light situations.. I just couldn't freeze that action in that lighting environment. I do shoot my pictures over to the Courier with a final score, and I get printed last week! The paper the Tea Party was in also had little league pictures that I had shot.
