Very nice! Professional! I bet she could make a nice side income if she has the time and took orders.

Thank you. That's very nice of you. I keep telling her, but she's so humble and loves doing it so much that she can't associate it with a business, but instead considers it a hobby. This is the first cake she got paid for, and when her co-workers saw it she got more orders. One as far out as January!

We received a lot of compliments on the cake at my granddaughters baby shower, not to mention that my granddaughter was thrilled when she saw the cake. Her theme was rain forest and it couldn't have been any better! (she kept asking me about the cake and I told her to trust me ) But, it didn't stop there. My sister from New York was there and she took pictures that she sent on to her daughter in Michigan that also commented on the cake. Even the pictures don't really do it the justice it deserves, the detail was superb! The little baby bottle in front of the elephant even had the ounce marks. Your pictures are better than mine, I'm clipping them.

Thank you for the feedback (and your very generous check)! She really enjoyed making that cake, and she hopes to get even better at it.. Her only drawback is that she can only do it once all the kids are in bed if she wants to concentrate! I'm just glad to see her have a hobby that she really enjoys and that others get some enjoyment out of as well.

Genius! A real novel cake! I don't think there is an occasion that wouldn't enjoy such a novelty cake nor one that could stump your wife!

This cake was done for a friend who loves the beach. The flip-flops are made of fondant, and the sand is brown sugar..

My wife amazes me! She is preparing for her first wedding cake, so she has taught herself how to make roses.... She is always improving. She was nervous about the roses, but practice makes perfect...

Her first wedding cake, and she was nervous... She should know better. Came out great for being self-taught.
