Last night I went to my first political campaign rally of my lifetime.. I got an automated phone call telling me that McCain would be in Peterborough, so I decided to go. I figured it would be a small turnout in a small town, but it was amazing! The line was snaked around forever. There were Obama idiots on hand to protest and insult and hold up idiotic signs like, "War is not the answer" and such.. There were shouting contests between the McCain supporters and the Obama supporters, and the cops were very visible, even chasing two teenagers who chose to chase after each other with their opposing viewpoint signs.. There were several people in costume, including one wierdo who decided to paint her self red and simulate blood running out of her face and mouth, wearing some sign protesting the war. There was a 10 ft Uncle Sam working the crowd and a huge elephant walking around. From the shuttle parking lot a half-mile away we had to endure the Obamaniacs protesting our attendance. Unfortunately, I didn't take my camera to the rally due to the fear that they might not let me in with it. When I went back to my car, I took these pictures. You can see the digital sign that indicates that it was 36 degrees!

I wonder why Peterborough? Must have been crazy! Glad you had a chance to go. I heard on the news that Peterborough is the town that gave his previous campaign the biggest boost, or something like that. I also wondered why Peterborough, because the Town Hall only held 700 people. The rest of us had to stand outside and watch on a screen-freezing!
