I know most put this in a liberal/conservative - black and white frame. I am not so inclined. The internet is the only freedom of information we have and power wants to regulate it, tax it and control it. Mostly the information disseminated. In order to do that there must be a crisis, an immanent threat to our own safety and security and in that frame, Americans will roll over and allow themselves to be only subject to government approved media.
Our awareness and freedom to be informed is their enemy.
