I see that the Farmer's Market started today.. Too bad the weather was so ominous looking, because I'll bet people are really itching to get into the swing of spring... When I drove by it was a disappointing turnout, but that was only a sampling of 20 seconds, or so, so here's hoping you guys aren't doing all that work for nothing.

I drove by as they were just setting up so there were only a few there. I know my daughter likes to get things there. I'll be checking it out this year.

It actually went pretty well. #2 son sold all the eggs he'd taken and took an order for 1 of his turkeys.

Hey, Kevin, I noticed your son selling turkeys.. How's that going? He gave me an interesting lesson on how he raises them, beginning with purchasing them from Horse and Buggy until they're plump and juicy..
We were able to buy a whole bunch of fruit last week from Monadnock Farm, because it was really ripe.. We juice fruit and vegetables, and it the girls just love it!

It's going pretty well this year. I think he's sold 2 or 3 turkeys this year at the market. That's better than last year. He also sells all the eggs he takes, an occasional hand-drawn note card and few dish-clothes that our daughter makes. Hey, Kevin, I noticed your son selling turkeys.. How's that going? I make sure I buy a dozen eggs from your son every time we go, but last week he had sold out.. I never knew there was such a difference between farm-fresh eggs and the ones in the grocery until we started buying them there.
