They have tried to cram too much into that building-trying to carry everything that you may want, but it's not a super Wal Mart, and the result is that they have a lot of stuff, but no selection.. And everything Wal Mart sells now is Chinese crap of no quality.. I went there the other day looking to purchase a pair of shoes for my youngest daughter.. All the shoes were so ugly and crappy that I couldn't bring myself to insult her like that, even if she'll quickly grow out of them.. The shoes at Wal Mart are so pathetically cheaply made and ugly that I left without buying any.
My wife went there on Saturday looking to buy new curtains in order to freshen up our kitchen for spring, and she came home empty-handed.. Not one set of curtains for a kitchen-not even ugly rooster curtains or anything else.. NOTHING!
I feel like a bottom feeder when I go in Wal Mart now. It's really a gross store.. Wal Mart has put most of the mom and pop stores out of business, so it's the only convenient place to get most things, but it's where you go if you're cheap and you don't care about quality.. It's a terrible trend. Americans don't seem to give a damn about quality any more.
I'm all for affordable things, but it always remains true that you get what you pay for, and I don't want a $3 pair of kids' shoes.. I am not the type of person that sees a $3 price tag and gets excited.. I see a $3 price tag and know right away that those shoes are crap! I want a $25 pair of kids' shoes. You couldn't buy a $25 pair of kids' shoes at Wal Mart, even if you wanted to. You're limited to crap shoes of crap quality at a crap price. What a ghetto of a store.
