This story is disgusting.
Here's what your wonderful government thinks of laws, courtesy of Michael Graham. They had a whole shitload of crimigrants in a school gymnasium, and instead of locking the doors and arresting them one by one as they came out the one door they left unlocked and deporting them, they actually sit and listen to these criminals bitch about how hard it is to be a criminal in Massachusetts. It's evidently not too hard-the Governor actually let you leave the gathering that he called.. These criminals were invited to Fitchburg high school to whine about how hard their lives are.. Patrick should be arrested and charged with treason:
Last night in Fitchburg, one of Deval Patrick's pro-illegal-immigration commissions gathered to hear crimigrants complain about how tough life is for them in Massachusetts. It's all part of a process the governor is using to develop new crimigrant-friendly policies and proposals for the Commonwealth. As legal immigrants and American citizens struggle to pay all the taxes we owe, and to pay our medical premiums, and to keep out jobs as unemployment hits 16-year highs, listen to these tragic tales of woe...
Seven panelists, using translators, told the Governor’s Advisory Council on Immigrants and Refugees last night at Fitchburg High School of the problems their undocumented status causes them in education, public transportation, the workplace, health care, housing and transportation.
Fitchburg panelist Oscar Zapata from Uruguay has lived in the United States 20 years.
“As immigrants, many times we don’t have secure work,” he said. “We work through temp agencies that abuse us and don’t pay us minimum wage and don’t have benefits. We can’t complain about it or we get treated badly in the companies that we work at.”
Mr. Zapata said the state needs to respect workers and not make undocumented immigration status an obstacle. Passports, he said, should be sufficient to open a bank account and for cashing payroll checks.
Miguel Marino, also a native of Uruguay, said he thinks illegal immigrants should be allowed to get driver’s licenses. Most immigrants, he said, are on the roads to get to work, but live in fear of getting stopped by police.
Panelist Teresita Bueno said illegal immigrants cannot get health care in Massachusetts since they lack a Social Security number or proper identification. Many receive inadequate health care, and wrong or incomplete diagnoses result from this, she said. Additionally, translators are not always available.
Poor Teresita, Miguel and Oscar. What a horrible life they live here in Massachusetts, these innocent victims of their own lawbreaking. And you know what-- I agree with them completely. It's an outrage! It shouldn't be tolerated! It's a hate crime!
Well, don't you let us bigoted taxpayers get away with it, Teresita. You and your pals should really stick it to us, and jump on the next bus to Uruguay! Don't put up with this abuse--leave now!
That'll show us...
