Found this website while surfing around. Does anyone else know about this man's work? "Below are thumbnails of 40 photographs taken in Winchendon, Massachusetts, in September 1911. Click them to enlarge them. The photos were taken by child labor activist Lewis Hine. I am attempting to positively identify the children and track down their descendants." Now, I'm not trying to denigrate Winchendon for something done by a by-gone people-that would be as stupid as still being pissed about slavery, and I'm sure that every town that was a mil town used children in their workforce. I only post this because I found it, and I love the Glenallan mill, which is prominently pictured on the website provided here. It's a great piece of our town's history.
