Foreign Prediction of America's Demise

It is unsettling to hear this Russion expert predict the collapse and breakup of the United States, but I can't say that it would surprise me considering the sissified way we've decided to exist as a society in the last decade. We refuse to defend ourselves, we pander to criminal terrorists, we assign American Constitutional rights to foreigners who intended to kill us and import them into our country for trial, and so it goes. Sickening event after sickening event, with no end or awakening in sight.

At this very moment we have "pirates" holding ships hostage, demanding a ransom and the ransom will likely be paid as demanded. Never have I read such a limp-wristed handling of a terrorist act. These pirates should be shot by snipers or Seals or someone and killed right now to rid the world of them, and the ships returned to their rightful owners. We are allowing them to run our shipping lanes, and this will not end well.

RUSSIAN ANALYST PREDICTS DECLINE AND BREAKUP OF USA

A leading Russian political analyst has said the economic turmoil in the United States has confirmed his long-held view that the country is heading for collapse, and will divide into separate parts.

Professor Igor Panarin said in an interview with the respected daily IZVESTIA published on Monday: "The dollar is not secured by anything. The country's foreign debt has grown like an avalanche, even though in the early 1980s there was no debt. By 1998, when I first made my prediction, it had exceeded $2 trillion. Now it is more than 11 trillion. This is a pyramid that can only collapse."

The paper said Panarin's dire predictions for the U.S. economy, initially made at an international conference in Australia 10 years ago at a time when the economy appeared strong, have been given more credence by this year's events.

When asked when the U.S. economy would collapse, Panarin said: "It is already collapsing. Due to the financial crisis, three of the largest and oldest five banks on Wall Street have already ceased to exist, and two are barely surviving. Their losses are the biggest in history. Now what we will see is a change in the regulatory system on a global financial scale: America will no longer be the world's financial regulator."

When asked who would replace the U.S. in regulating world markets, he said: "Two countries could assume this role: China, with its vast reserves, and Russia, which could play the role of a regulator in Eurasia."

Asked why he expected the U.S. to break up into separate parts, he said: "A whole range of reasons. Firstly, the financial problems in the U.S. will get worse. Millions of citizens there have lost their savings. Prices and unemployment are on the rise. General Motors and Ford are on the verge of collapse, and this means that whole cities will be left without work. Governors are already insistently demanding money from the federal center. Dissatisfaction is growing, and at the moment it is only being held back by the elections and the hope that Obama can work miracles. But by spring, it will be clear that there are no miracles."

He also cited the "vulnerable political setup", "lack of unified national laws", and "divisions among the elite, which have become clear in these crisis conditions."

He predicted that the U.S. will break up into six parts - the Pacific coast, with its growing Chinese population; the South, with its Hispanics; Texas, where independence movements are on the rise; the Atlantic coast, with its distinct and separate mentality; five of the poorer central states with their large Native American populations; and the northern states, where the influence from Canada is strong.

He even suggested that "we could claim Alaska - it was only granted on lease, after all." Panarin, 60, is a professor at the Diplomatic Academy of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and has authored several books on information warfare.

It's strange that you posted this! I just read this, The Five Stages of Collapse this morning. I thought about posting this paper but then I just tucked it away so as to get through the holiday with a happy spirit. But, that hasn't worked all day.

I eluded before to the $700 billion dollar bailout as more than a bailout and I believe that even more now. It was actually a take over. The powers given to the treasurer worded in that bill are omnipotent (for lack of a better word) absolute power and control. The rest of it was just lies. Period.

The five stages:

1. Financial Collapse
2. Commercial Collapse
3. Political Collapse
4. Social Collapse
5. Cultural Collapse

So here are the five stages as I defined them almost a year ago. The little check-mark next to "financial collapse" is there to remind us that we are not here to quibble or equivocate, because Stage 1 is pretty far along. Stages 2 and 3 - commercial and political collapse, are driven by financial collapse, and will overlap each other. Right now, it is unclear which one is farther along. On the one hand, there are signs that global shipping is grinding to a halt, and that big box retailers are in for a very bad time, with many stores likely to close following a disastrous Christmas season. On the other hand, states are already experiencing massive budget shortfalls, laying off state workers, cutting back on programs, and are starting to beg the federal government for bail-out money.

Even though the various stages of collapse drive each other in a variety of ways, I think that it makes sense to keep them apart conceptually. This is because their effects on our daily life are quite different. Whatever constructive ways we may find of dodging these effects are also going to be different. Lastly, some stages of collapse seem unavoidable, while others may be avoided if we put up enough of a fight. ...

And: ... Here in the US, we are yet to experience any of the really major, earth-shattering realizations, the ones that look preposterous immediately before and completely obvious immediately after they occur. We have had minor tremors, mostly relating to financial assumptions. Is real estate a good investment. Will private retirement allow you to retire? Will the government bail us all out? All the major realizations are yet to come, or, as my die-hard Yuppie friends keep telling me, "Nothing's happened yet."

But by the time something does happen, it will have been too late for us to start planning for it happening. It doesn't seem all that worthwhile for us to sit around waiting for the happy event of everybody else feeling foolish all at the same time. Arrogant though that may seem, we may be better off accepting their foolishness before they do, and keeping a safe distance ahead of the prevailing opinion.

Because if we do that, we may yet succeed in finding ways to cope. We may learn to dodge financial collapse by learning to live without needing much money. We may create alternative living arrangements and informal production and distribution networks for all the necessities before commercial collapse occurs. We may organize into self-governing communities that can provide for their own security during political collapse. And all of these steps put together may put us in a position to safeguard society and culture.

Or we can just wait until everyone starts agreeing with us, because we wouldn't want them to look foolish.

I have to read it again but there are good suggestions in this article as well as sound reason as to what we are living through at this time.

Russia can see it much better than we can, they lived it. America is being taken down and sold out at fire sale prices to the banksters.

You know where I put the blame? Squarely on the shoulders of political correctness (i.e. refusing any longer to preach that America and the American way of life is superior and worth fighting for and putting our interests first) and on replacing excellence with comfort and self-esteem for the past generation or two-certainly the current one. We have become a nation of sissies and military-haters who have succumbed to the brainwashing that you posted a video about a month or so ago..

In fact, we are no longer America. We are increasingly becoming a land of foreigners who are loyal to their home country or their family's ideolgy and just infesting America for the financial low-hanging fruit. We care more about foreigners on our own soil than we do about our own people who have been here for generations and have family members who have died for this country.

A country whose citizenry are not 100% united in word and deed in defending the country cannot survive. When less than half of the citizens of a nation believe that the nation is worth fighting for and defending, all is lost.

It's all so blatantly obvious, and anyone that would deny these things has nothing more to say to me, as I would deem them ignorant.


Just a little food for thought:

What would/could we do if the Russian warships stationed in Venezuela right now decided to nuke ten or so major capital cities-just the ones that matter? It would cripple our infrastructure immediately, shut down commerce, shut down all productivity and people would not have jobs to go to or would be afraid to try. It would take us months to recall an effective military counterinsurgency from Iraq in order to defend our shores. It's very scary to me that, just as we are stretched suicidally thin across the ocean, one of our apparently emerging enemies is sailing destroyers into waters on our side of the ocean. In this time of transition and turmoil in the White house and with all the hippie idiots clamoring for Dear Leader Obama-you know-the pussies that can't bear the thought of any kind of use of military power in defense of our wasteful way of life, we are very vulnerable, and I fear that Russia knows it.. Imagine if Japan came from the West-Russia is already at our South. Folks, I must tell you that I'm scared. I'm scared that some psychopathic foreign leaders might see an opportunity to strike, as big mouthed Biden prophesized, and I'm scared because of the limp-wristed citizenry of this country and the pussy of a leader they felt the utter need to elect out of their white guilt and hatred for George Bush. I really do fear for the future of my babies. America is no longer the noble beacon of strength and freedom that it once was. We have become a socialist, weak country ripe for destruction.
